iara Solano Arana is an artist and researcher. Since 2006, she has created scenic experiences and relational devices that cross disciplines and place the spectator as the primary subject of her pieces, exploring the gradient margins between theater, film, dance, and installation. She combines her practice, in which perception, liminality, and the body are central concepts, with cultural mediation and management, as well as teaching and mentoring, and accompanying the projects of other artists. Her works have been programmed at festivals, museums and theaters on four continents, and she has received multiple international awards for her work as a creator, performer, and manager.
