In parallel with my artistic practice, I have been working as a curator and cultural manager in Spain since 2008. Some of the contexts I have designed and led include the Scratxe Gauak Scratch Nights (2009-2021) which are still taking place at the Sala Baratza in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the No Sleep Till Brexit – We’re Still Here Festival which I curated for the Centro Condeduque in Madrid in 2019, or the inTACTO Festival of New Performing Practices which I directed at the Artium Museum of Contemporary Art from 2011 to 2018.
I have also been part of various project evaluation committees for the Basque Government and I curated the the Injuve Performing Arts Symposium for the Government of Spain in 2020 and 2021. As an associated artist with the Teatro de la Abadía I designed and coordinated the [FERIA] Festival, the Domingos de Insurrección program for emerging artists, and the Sonora Scenic Radio-Nap Series.
In 2021 and 2022 I was artistic director of the Corral de Comedias Theatre in Alcalá de Henares, and in 2022 I designed and coordinated Larrialdi Irteerak, a mentoring program for emerging artists based in Álava.
In 2024, I presented Lera Lera Landa, a prototype funded by Creative Europe for the bio-sociocultural revitalization of rural Álava, and I am currently preparing the launch of FIAR, the Itinerant Festival of Relational Art.
